Friends of CBI, both in Israel and abroad, constitute the backbone or the organization. The support of CBI's friends ensures our continued activities, today and in the future. These dedicated individuals are motivated by a love of Israel, appreciation of aesthetic beauty, and a passion for protecting our environment.
Throughout the year, friends of CBI conduct projects, fundraising events and promotional activities, furthering the CBI cause. The year's activity culminates in an annual gala dinner held in major cities such as New York, attended by distinguished and renowned personalities and CBI supporters.
Since 1984,
the Yakir award has been granted every year to dedicated volunteers and donors of CBI. The award is conferred by the president of the State of Israel and the international president of the Council in a ceremony at the president of Israel's residence in Jerusalem.
CBI offers thanks to its extended family in Israel and abroad, in appreciation of their effort, achievements and devotion to working together for a beautiful Israel.
